The Weld System

Hi! We're the Weld. We also go by Mx. Ace Fucking Jaycee, passerine(s), and Fidgetcetera. We're a cripple queer plural system, made up of four partitions - Nemmy Nyms, Salix Quercus, Spectra, and Melody Tesh.

We're physically, mentally, and cognitively disabled. We're plural, trans, queer, white, nonbinary, bisexual, otherkin lesbians. We have ADHD, we're autistic, we're depressed, and we have chronic leg pain. There's always more to get into, but these things summarize a lot of what our experience often is shaped by.

We lean towards being some kind of anarchists, with all this in mind. Destroy hierarchies, support and uplift oppressed people.

We use xey/xem pronouns as a whole system. This is pronounced "zay" and "zem", as though the X were that in "xylophone". When our partitions, such as Melody, ask for a pair of pronouns or names, we prefer that you try to use them interchangeably as often as possible - even to the point of changing which set you use mid-sentence.

Additionally, when using our names: "the Weld system" is rather formal, but you can just call us Weld, or the Weld. Think of it like when a superhero is named "the Flash" and it depends on context. Weld is the name of our system of plurality, while Mx. Ace Fucking Jaycee is more a name given to the body we inhabit. passerine (always lowercase) is a bit of a nickname, and sometimes plural (passerines). Fidgetcetera, shortened to Fidget, is more of a username.
